Summer Shoe Style

Ladies keep an eye out for nude colored shoes this summer. If you want to go with a more casual statement wear a pair of Keds sneakers. Wedges look great with jean skirts and add height if your on the petite side. I absolutely adore flip flops with flowers or bows!  These few tips are sure to help your feet stay stylish and cool this summer .

Guys you can stay cool this summer too! Buy a pair of slip on shoes for comfort. Plaid Airwalk slip- ons would look great with jeans or khaki pants for a casual look. If you want to dress up try wearing dress shoes with texture added. If your in a rush out the door, throw on a pair of faux-suede flip flops to keep those toes cool.

Warm Weather Suits

Guys you can stay cool this warm weather season by trading in your winter suits. Light colored suits are for warmer weather. I love the Light Gray suit worn here by Austin for a sleek summer look. For those of you who do not have a light colored suit, you could always trade out your jacket for a vest. Wearing a vest instead of a jacket still gives you a formal look while staying cool in warm weather.  Wendell is wearing a great example of a vest without a jacket here in the photo.

According to GQ, one of the first things people notice is your tie. You want to wear a tie that stands out, but at the same time doesn't clash with your outfit. Here are a few tips to help you add style with a tie:

 

1. Length- Keep things looking neat. Use your beltline for a guide. The tip of your tie should be at the top of your beltline. 

2. Solid Colors- Add style to a patterned button up with a coordinating solid color tie. You can also get a simple, but classic look by wearing a solid black tie with a white button up shirt.

3. Bow Ties- This tie is coming back with a vengeance. You can wear a Bow Tie with a suit or tone it down with a pair of jeans and a cardigan. Check out Dolce and Gabbana Bow Ties for 2013.

4. Skinny Ties- Another tie that has made a comeback is the skinny tie. Skinny ties are a little more narrow than the more traditional tie. A Skinny Tie looks great with a pair of jeans for casual style.

5. Fabric- Match your ties with the season. Wear Cotton Ties during warm weather months. Wool Ties are more appropriate during the cooler weather months. Silk and Knit Ties are pretty much suitable for all Seasons.
